Pathology

Fast, accurate test results are crucial when a patient is possibly faced with a disease. Cancer diagnostics is a complex process with many steps in the pathology laboratory susceptible to error - from inaccurate identification to an extra drop of reagents or over-fixation. The correct diagnosis hangs in the balance at each stage.

Dako’s goals are to improve tissue-based cancer diagnostics focusing on the workflow in the pathology laboratory. Our aim is to develop and market know-how, instruments, reagents and software that will reduce time from biopsy to diagnosis, improve quality and reliability of the diagnosis and efficiency in the lab.  

Pathology laboratories of today are undergoing significant changes. They are developing fast to meet an increasing burden on the labs due to aging populations and healthcare costs under scrutiny. Dako’s will continuously develop and market products which help the pathology laboratories in overcoming these challenges. By offering connected laboratory solutions Dako also aims to add the value of ensuring consistent high quality staining every time the laboratory prepares a slide, avoiding variances generated in the many processes in the lab.

Reagent Partnership Division

The clinical laboratories are demanding products which meet their expectations of high throughput and reliable results. Our range of retail products within the areas of specific proteins and immunoassays for turbidimetry and reagents for flow cytometry fulfill every requirement for high quality and ease of use.

As an OEM partner, the goal for Reagent Partnership Division is to develop worldclass immunoassays for turbidimetry within the areas of cardio-vascular risk, kidney and patient profiling, covering every step from development and manufacturing to bottling and packaging. By partnering with Reagent Partnership Division our customers acquire the outcome of a highly qualified team with an excellent understanding of end-user needs and with a track record of successful development projects for some of the largest IVD companies in the world.
